Industrial Design Engineer

Performing component validation and propose cost effective designs to meet customer requirements by analyzing the scope of the project and considering the environmental factors such as Seismic load, Snow load and Wind load. Collaborating with Product Management to define the product market specification for new refrigerators. Brainstorming new and innovative solutions to achieve the product market specification. Performing component validation and Design Refrigeration systems and design in Solid works and ACAD leveraging structural Design Knowledge. Manage large complex projects involving Sheet metal and plastics Design, CO2 Refrigeration Responsible for FEA Analysis and field testing. Building code requirements for Modular Building Designs. Utilizing AWS standards, ANSI and ASTM Standards for design and modeling. Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in Industrial Refrigeration. Of the required experience, must have experience in all of the following: 5 years of experience with Solid works; 5 years of experience designing in Solid works and Auto CAD (ACAD); 5 years of experience designing Refrigeration systems; 5 years of experience with Structural Design; 5 years of experience with CO2 Refrigeration; 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; 2 years of experience with sheet metal and plastics design; 1 year of experience Project Managing large complex projects in the Refrigeration Industry; 1 year of experience with National Electric Code (NEC) and Underwriter Laboratories (UL); 1 year of experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Analysis; 1 year of experience with Modular Building Design and building code requirements; 1 year of experience with American Welding Society (AWS) standards; and 1 year of experience with American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
