Position Details:
Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Orlando, FL
Shift: Sunday-Thursday 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM (or until work is complete)
Pay: $33 - $36/hr (Based on Experience)
Length of Assignment: Performance-Based
Job Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on material handling and automated picking systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation issues in the Distribution Center.
Modify and upgrade PLC programming, system controls, and network communication issues.
Maintain CMMS/EAM system records on repairs and spare parts inventory.
Operate and diagnose HVAC, chillers, boilers, pumps, and water treatment systems.
Work extended hours as needed to meet productivity goals.
Mentor and assist other technicians as required.
Requirements & Qualifications:Minimum two years of experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or electrical repair.
Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems troubleshooting.
Experience with PLC programming, RSLogix, Sort Director, GSMi, IPoint, and Flex Sort preferred.
Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, wiring diagrams, and PLC logic.
Hands-on experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
Ability to test and diagnose electrical systems up to 600V (AC & DC).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
