Join our dynamic team, where we are committed to safeguarding our clients' digital environments. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Junior Incident Response Analyst to bolster our Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC).

Position Overview:

As a Junior Incident Response Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization from cyber threats. You will work closely with our Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams, engaging in incident response functions, investigations, and digital forensics. Your expertise will help us identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and enhance our security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Response:
Assist in the detection, analysis, and response to security incidents.

Participate in investigations to determine the root cause of incidents and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Technical Support:
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support within the Cyber Security Operations Center.

Collaborate with senior analysts to escalate incidents as needed and ensure timely resolution.
  • Digital Forensics:
Utilize digital forensic tools to analyze compromised systems and gather evidence.

Document findings and prepare reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Scripting & Analysis:
Analyze and interpret code using languages such as PowerShell, PERL, and Python to identify malicious activities.

Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks and enhance incident response efficiency.
  • Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.

Pursue relevant cybersecurity certifications to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:
  • Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on incident response and analysis.

Proven experience in Tier 1 and Tier 2 support within a Cyber Security Operations Center.
  • Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in digital forensic tools and methodologies.

Solid understanding of scripting languages, particularly PowerShell, PERL, and Python.
  • Certifications:
Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), etc.) are highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
