As the In-Store Shopper Team Manager, you will play a critical role in enhancing our Customer Service and E-Commerce initiatives. You will lead efforts to optimize the checkout experience and oversee grocery delivery and pickup services at your assigned location. Your focus will be on safety, quality of orders, and providing an exceptional pickup experience. You'll monitor key performance indicators and assess team performance to drive productivity and program execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and hold all team members accountable for the same.
  • Establish expectations to balance in-store service with online order fulfillment.
  • Monitor customer flow and assign tasks to ensure all customers receive excellent experiences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor practices.
  • Respond effectively to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Build productive relationships with store leadership and delivery partners.
  • Cultivate a positive team environment and uphold morale.
  • Maintain safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Guide and develop team members to create a high-performing workforce.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Promote and exemplify Whole Foods Market's core values and leadership principles.

Qualifications:
  • At least 12 months of retail experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour workday.
  • Tasks involve bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
  • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Able to work in varying temperatures, including up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Flexible scheduling required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment like box cutters and pallet jacks.
