Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to supervise the full performance level of professional family support workers/certified nursing assistants and support staff that are providing preventive or protective services to vulnerable adults. Cases may involve guardianship or adult case management.

POSITION DUTIES

• Supervises, trains, and evaluates family support workers, lead worker and related staff to guide, lead, instruct, and support staff in their provision of services; instructs staff in administrative and operating policies and procedures.

• Assists Adult Services Fiscal Clerk with In Home Aide Adult Service (IHAS).

• Assigns Cases in CJAMS to ensure equitable distribution of workload; reviews cases/reports in CJAMS to assure accurate and complete documentation in accordance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Completes required management reports and makes appropriate recommendations to improve service; uses database applications to record information, research, and track or manage cases for compliance.

• Represents the agency at meetings with public and private agencies including community groups.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Eight years of experience, four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations and an additional four years of professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations for the required experience.

2. Candidates may substitute graduate level education at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at the rate of 30 credit hours per year for up to six years of the required experience.

3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.

One year of experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

One year of experience with Child, Juvenile, Adult Management System (CJAMS).

Six months of experience with budget and fiscal responsibilities.

One year of supervisory experience.
