Import Traffic Coordinator - Freight Forwarding

Meadows Wye & Co., Inc. is a long-established Customs House Broker - Freight Forwarder. We are an international company with own offices in the US, Europe and Asia. We are seeking a Traffic Coordinator to be a part of our team at our Staten Island, NY location.

We provide Health Benefits, 401k and profit-sharing bonuses are issued to our employees twice a year after completion of one full year of employment.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 to start

This position is for Local Residents Only.

Requirements & Job Description:

•   1-5 years of prior work experience as a Traffic Coordinator with freight forwarding experience.

•   Good customer service skills via phone & e-mail.

•   Keen attention to details

•   Ability to prioritize workload

•   Must be able to take and adhere to instructions.
Job Description:

•   Track & Trace Shipments

•   Generate Delivery Orders

•   Dispatch Freight

•   Post data/events into our computer system

Education:

•   High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:

•   Logistics Operations Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)

•   Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
