Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Import Sales Manager to join our Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing customer accounts, developing strong business relationships, and driving sales initiatives. This position requires excellent communication skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions & Duties- Conduct F2F Outside Sales Calls.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and execute sales strategies to increase revenue.
- Manage customer accounts by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify potential growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management review.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with customers.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand business outreach.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of customer-facing sales experience.
- 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the ocean shipping or international logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight, supply chain logistics, and international trade regulations.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
