Immigration Specialist Opportunity:

  • Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Immigration Specialist Job Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity if you've worked with Green Card petitions, H-1B visas, F-1 visa, Student visas, compliance, or immigration case management in the past. This role will support key functions, focusing on I-9 documentation, onboarding, and general administrative tasks.

Your role as the Immigration Specialist will ensure compliance with employment verification requirements, facilitate seamless onboarding experience, and provide essential support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • I-9 Documentation & Compliance:
  • Collect, review, and verify Form I-9 documentation for new hires to ensure compliance with federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of employment eligibility verifications
  • Conduct periodic audits of I-9 forms to ensure compliance and correct any discrepancies
  • Onboarding Support:
  • Assist in coordinating the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing onboarding materials
  • Ensure completion of all required new hire paperwork
  • Administrative Support:
  • Maintain and update employee records
  • Provide support for projects, compliance initiatives, and training programs
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 1+ years of administrative immigration experience, preferably with handling Green Card petitions, Student visa, H-1B, F-1, immigration compliance, immigration case management
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Form I-9 requirements and E-Verify processes is a plus
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems. Experience with Workday is a plus
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset
