ICOFT Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Onsite in Huntsville, AL

Description:

Seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our TSSL Program supporting the operations, maintenance of a complex, hybrid on-premises and cloud enterprise IT environment in Huntsville, AL. As a Cyber Security Analyst you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's cyber security assurance processes. This includes developing and implementing security policies and procedures, conducting security assessments, and monitoring the organization's cyber security posture.

Program Info: ICOFT provides realistic institutional training in all areas of the THAAD Enhanced Operator/Maintainer operations and maintenance tasks for the THAAD Fire Control and Communication (TFCC), Radar, and Launcher components. The ICOFT replicates the tactical system environment and supports training of the TFCC, Radar, and Launcher tactical software. Within the training environment, the ICOFT inserts faults and captures, records, grades, and plays back student input.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops andmaintainstherisk management framework
  • Collaborateswith stakeholders to define and implement security policies and controls
  • Contributesto incident response planning and post-incident analysis
  • Preparesrisk reports and present findings to senior management
  • Staysabreast ofthe latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies
  • Provide vulnerability analysis and reporting on accredited information systems
  • Scansinformation systems using scanning tools
  • Createsdocumentation such as SOPs, internal process documents,and input into cyber policies that support the continuous monitoring of accredited information systems
  • Coordinateswith information system POCs for plan updates and mitigation strategies to ensure overall health of IT systems,networksand applications
  • Developcontinuous monitoring and plans of actions and milestones (POA&Ms)
  • Develop ATOs followingNISTguidesand Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Demonstrated experience with cyber security concepts to include encryption services, access control, information protection, network security
  • 5+ years' experiencedevelopingRMFdocumentation
  • 5+ years' experienceassessing systems within cloud environments focusing on security posture
  • 5+ years' experienceperformingvulnerability and risk assessments, and security assessment of hardware and software
  • Excellent written and oral communicationskills, with theabilityto articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledgeable of various cloud services to include Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, Software as a Service
  • Computer Networking experience
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years or more of related experience
