Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an organized and highly motivated Program Manager to join our Integration Support Contract (ISC) Minuteman III (MMIII) Ground Electrical Sustainment IPT in support of the ICBM Codes Working Group. Responsibilities include: Support the USAF program team in managing, coordinating, planning, organizing, controlling, integrating, and executing the various efforts within the Codes Working Group Help the USAF team ensure achievement of financial, schedule, and technical program performance objectives using the DoD Acquisition and Sustainment Processes Work with the government program team, directly supporting the Program Manager (PM) with all program actions Manage workload with ISC engineers and other stakeholders to meet program schedules Prepare and defend programmatic recommendations, which includes collecting data points, reviewing documents, conducting research, etc. Apply management principles and techniques to make improvements, solve problems, or take corrective action when problems arise Create and modify briefings, white papers, etc., to support program briefings, status updates, and milestones Brief leadership face-to-face and over virtual mediums Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Monitor program documentation requirements and resources to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies Work with the contractor and other stakeholdersto ensure that their deliverables meet requirements Required Education, Experience, & Skills Minimum 10 years of direct Program Management experience (8 years of experience with a Master's degree) Experience with ICBM processes and MMIII Sustainment (preferrably Codes Experience) Experience in AF sustainment engineering processes Understanding of project schedules, contract deliverables and risk management Experience in Project/Program Management of government programs Understanding of DoD Acquisition Milestones and documents Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint Active secret security clearance or higher and is a US Citizen Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Demonstrate strong initiative, organize daily tasks with minimal supervision Ability to learn quickly, with minimal direction, and understand and apply new concepts in executing daily tasks Strong communication skills (oral and written) Strong analytical skills, and is extremely resourceful Effectively work with teams and independently Understanding/experience in DoD acquisitions systems engineering processes/gates/reviews Experience working with government contracts Understanding of CDRLVue, PMRT, Risk Management and CCaR programs Experience in creating/understanding schedules, risks, and financial forecasts Understanding of the DoD financial programming and budgeting process Experience with DoD and AF written communication methods Working knowledge of SharePoint Experience in managing DoD ACAT programs Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $106654 - $181311 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
