Job Title - IAM and Directory Services Manager

Location - Houston, TX (Initial remote flexibility, with expectation to relocate onsite within 3-5 months. Preference for candidates already within 1 hour of Houston.)

Role Type - Contract to Hire


Must Have Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with IAM tools and directory services such as SailPoint, Active Directory (on-prem), and Entra AD
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and service lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in technical or security environments
  • Knowledge of compliance and security regulations in healthcare or similar regulated industries
  • Excellent communication and executive reporting capabilities

Responsibilities and Job Details:

  • Serve as Service Owner for Identity & Access Management (IAM) and related directory services
  • Lead and manage budget planning and financial oversight for IAM services
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level reports and insights on IAM status and performance
  • Design and execute strategic plans aligned with enterprise security goals
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements
  • Oversee daily operations, resource allocation, and performance of IAM and directory services
  • Set measurable goals, monitor service performance, and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage Change Control processes and maintain accurate entries in the Service Catalog
  • Coordinate cross-functional service delivery and ensure consistent communication with stakeholders
  • Provide training and support to staff, ensuring appropriate skills and process understanding
  • Monitor vendor performance and uphold contractual responsibilities
  • Utilize and manage technologies such as BeyondTrust, Netwrix, Venafi, AWS Identity, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and Domain Controllers
