We are hiring a founding Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) with a strong background in engineering hyperscale infrastructure, essential leadership experience directly in a Big Tech firm designing the strategy.


Role Summary

As CSO, you will serve as the strategic architect of the fund, guiding our approach to infrastructure investments, sustainable energy partnerships, and next-gen asset development. You will work alongside key investors to scale a portfolio that meets both high-performance and ESG demands of the world's leading cloud and AI companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive fund-level strategy across hyperscale data centers, AI/ML compute, and alternative energy projects
  • Lead technical and strategic due diligence for investments across greenfield development, acquisitions, and power procurement
  • Identify opportunities to integrate renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro), battery storage, and on-site generation into data center assets
  • Build partnerships with utilities, energy developers, and power markets to enable cost-effective, low-carbon solutions
  • Guide site selection and asset design with a focus on power resilience, efficiency, and sustainability
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, investment, and real estate teams from planning through execution
  • Represent the fund with hyperscalers, AI customers, strategic partners, and sustainability stakeholders

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years of experience in strategy, engineering, or operational leadership in Big Tech, data center
  • Deep technical knowledge of hyperscale systems and/or power infrastructure (PUE optimization, grid interconnects, renewables integration, etc.)
  • Proven ability to bridge technical insights with investment and development strategy
  • Familiarity with PPAs, energy markets, ESG reporting, and carbon reduction frameworks is highly desirable
  • Track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects or M&A at global scale
  • Technical degree in Engineering or related field required; MBA or finance background a plus
