Job DetailsWe are currently looking for a Hybrid Sr. Accountant to join our team in Anaheim, CA
You'll be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks and procedures, including but not limited to reconciliation of income, expense, and balance sheet accounts; maintenance of reconciliation for subsidiary system, e.g., Maintaining fixed asset records and calculation of depreciation. Responsible for prepaid and expense schedules and calculation of accruals and reversals. Assists with grant invoicing and grant accounting. Perform bookkeeping function for Public Affairs' Community Action Funds (C4 Electoral and C4 Non-Electoral). Duties include recording cash receipts, cash disbursements, and preparation of monthly donation reports for Public Affairs.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform monthly journal entries as assigned.
Perform bank reconciliations (non-general operating bank accounts).
Reconciliation of income, expense, and balance sheet accounts as assigned.
Perform and maintain accounting of all telehealth mobile services.
Perform journal entries relating to allocation of expenses and other entries as assigned.
Posting transactions related to ACHs related to operating bank accounts.
Collaborate with Accounts Payable team on accuracy of accruals and expenses coding not limited to credit card and employee expenses/reimbursements.
Assist with audit documentation for external auditors
Special projects as assigned.
Education/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent working experience required.
- 5+ years of working experience in an accounting department with working knowledge of general accepted accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Excel required
