Description

The Sales Applications Engineer is responsible for interfacing with customers and managing inquiries to result in an
accurate quote for business and ongoing customer support. The Sales Applications Engineer reports to the Application
Engineering Manager.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Interface with customers via direct contact, sales calls, email and phone to determine need, provide design
    assistance and provide a quote for business.
    Management of programs from key customers from initial purchase order to end of life.
    Interface with customers regarding all aspects of a program.
    Serve as liaison with All Flex regarding customer issues related to a specific situation.
    Ensures the product meets customer timelines, quality expectations, and internal profitability measures.
    Participate in meetings with other Engineers, Area Supervisors, Sales, and other staff relative to application
    of consolidated knowledge and experience to promptly resolve problems, processes, drawings, design,
    specifications, materials, quality, etc.
    Communicates key customer programs throughout all departments.
    Complete work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work
    efforts with other co-workers and management.
    Understand All Flex's Quality Policy and implements it in all processes.
    Respect the confidentiality of company and customer information.
  • Qualifications:
    Degree in Engineering, Math or Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Prefer 5-8 years of product and/or manufacturing experience with flex circuits, flex heaters or
    circuit board industry related engineering or applied sciences.
    Knowledge and understanding of concepts, contents and application of ISO 9000 is helpful.
    Working knowledge of manufacturing, production, mechanical and quality concepts and
    application including Lean Manufacturing, SPC and Total QC.
    Must be a problem solver with an investigative spirit, attention to detail, well organized and the
    ability to question and work within a team environment.
    Must possess excellent communication skills in the English language - both written and verbal.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data entry. NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
    Travel to key customers will be required as driven by the program.
We offer a competitive base salary in the $80,000 to $85,000 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit-sharing opportunities tied to performance.
