The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects throughout the development life cycle, collaborating with Engineering and Project Managers to establish priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate with production teams to ensure project deliverables meet performance specifications.

Description

You will report directly into the Senior Project Manager and be responsible for:

  • Managing all project activities and workflows, including scheduling, resource allocation, planning, design reviews, interdepartmental coordination, project reporting, and risk management.
  • Assisting in defining project scope with relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Tracking all engineering efforts, with a focus on the design phase.
  • Facilitating design reviews and fostering effective communication to ensure collaboration across and within departments.
  • Interfacing with engineering leadership, engineers, vendors, sales/customers, and internal production teams to ensure alignment on design, build, and test requirements, as well as execution plans.
  • Overseeing projects from end to end to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • Engaging with sales/customers as needed during project execution.

Profile

The successful candidate will have

  • 2+ years of project management experience in a Manufacturing environment or a strong interest in project management with an engineering background
  • Ability to manage custom systems projects, up to 10 at a time
  • Optics, photonics, radionics, LED's and/or other power supply familiarity
  • Experience managing orders, projects, and budgets
  • LiquidPlanner familiarity a plus
