Hybrid Network Operations Administrator

Job Description

A banking employer is looking for a Network Operations Administrator to join their team in Middletown, CT. This is open due to an increased support need centered around network operations web filtering, firewall rules, and understanding and improving existing network issues. The Network Operations Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the existing networks and ensuring their performance, reliability, and security, while handling tasks such as testing, server management, and end-user administration. The Network Operations Administrator will utilize various technologies including Check Point App Control and Cisco ASA FirePOWER firewalls, Forcepoint web, ForeScout CounterACT, and Carbon Black Protection for endpoint protection, Aruba Wireless Access Points, SolarWinds for network monitoring, QOS, VOIP, and CUCM.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Network Operations Administrator

Strong experience with web filtering

Strong experience setting up and managing firewall rules with Check Point and Cisco ASA

Experience with endpoint management using tools such as Forcepoint, ForeScout, or Carbon Black

Experience with SolarWinds null
