Hybrid Medical Billing Assistant

$18-$20/hr DOE Job Summary: Join our dedicated team as a
Medical Billing Assistant in a hybrid work environment. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for healthcare and a desire to support the medical billing process. You will have the opportunity to work both remotely and in the office, with the flexibility to balance your work life. Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Hybrid (part-time)
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Pay Rate: $18 to $20+ per hour
- Shift: Daytime schedule, 30 to 40 hours per week (8 am to 5 pm) Roles and Responsibilities: - Support the Full time medical biller in processing medical billing tasks.
- Assist in maintaining accurate medical records and billing information.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings in the office every Wednesday.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay self-motivated and willing to learn new processes and systems.
Qualifications & Skills: - High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in an office administrative role, preferably with exposure to medical billing or medical records.
- Familiarity with pediatrics, medical insurance, and non-profit missions is a plus.
- Experience with Fusion or other EMR systems is preferred.
