The Marketing Intern at Maricamp Animal Hospital will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand visibility and engagement across multiple social media platforms and online channels. This unpaid internship offers an invaluable opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on experience in marketing within the veterinary healthcare industry.
The primary responsibility of the Marketing Intern will be to support the Marketing Coordinator in executing various marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and driving revenue for Maricamp Animal Hospital. Through creative content creation, strategic implementation, and consistent communication with online communities, the intern will contribute to expanding the hospital's online presence and fostering connections with potential clients.
This role offers a dynamic learning environment where interns will have the chance to apply their unique skills and ideas to real-world marketing initiatives. Under the guidance of the Marketing Coordinator, interns will gain practical experience in campaign development, social media management, and community engagement strategies.

OBJECTIVES
Contribute throughout the marketing cycle in positioning, messaging, and storytelling in the Veterinary Industry
Contribute to marketing campaigns that further the company's strategic goals
Monitor consumer trends, feedback, and satisfaction levels by analyzing data from Social Media and Google
Apply marketing concepts to solve organizational challenges
Provide support for virtual and in-person events
Contribute fresh ideas that can enhance the brand's standing
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support teams to plan, develop, and execute marketing initiatives
Complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing
Assist management with the preparation of campaigns, projects and reports
Perform competitive market analysis to identify areas of opportunity
Collect performance metrics to measure the progress and success of campaigns, ads, and marketing events
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
At least 6 months of experience using Graphic Design editing tools & software
Knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and staying up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Sense of teamwork and the ability to execute programs
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and hardworking
Must supply your own computer & phone for the use of editing software & technology
Work Setting: Hybid; a mix of remote and in-person work Schedule: 20 hours/week or less during business hours (M-F 8am-6pm & Sat 8am-1pm) Contact:
