Position: Construction & Design Attorney
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid - 3 Days In-Office)
Compensation: $100,000 - $145,000 (Based on Experience)

About the Opportunity:
Our client, a respected law firm with a strong presence in construction litigation, is seeking a Construction & Design Defense Attorney to join their Denver office. This hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, requiring three days per week onsite.
The ideal candidate will have experience representing developers, general contractors, design professionals, and/or subcontractors in construction defect and design-related litigation. This position is an excellent fit for an attorney looking to grow within a well-supported and specialized legal team.
Responsibilities:
Defend clients in construction defect and design litigation matters from inception through resolution
Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation
Draft and respond to legal pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Evaluate case strategies, provide risk assessments, and advise clients accordingly
Collaborate with firm partners, support staff, and expert witnesses to develop defense strategies
Maintain compliance with court deadlines, filings, and procedures
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Colorado
2-7 years of litigation experience, with a focus on construction, professional liability, or related defense work
Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills
Ability to manage cases independently and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range of $100,000 - $145,000, commensurate with experience
