HVAC Service Technician/Installer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain various air conditioning units. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and efficiently while ensuring high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and related equipment.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
Perform welding/brazing tasks as needed for equipment repairs or installations.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role in appliance or equipment repair.
Familiarity with HVAC/R systems and components, including installation and maintenance procedures.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC design.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is preferred but not required.
