HVAC Sales/Service Manager - Residential Services

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sales/Service manager for our HVAC division. Candidate must have experience driving high sales growth through developing people in a fast-paced environment. This position will be a key-leadership position in the entire company with the opportunity to have a high impact. The idea person would have proven results in leading and developing a professional HVAC team. We are searching for an individual who enjoys building, caring for and developing people.

CORE FUNCTIONS:
  • Collaborates with Director of Operationsin establishing and recommending goals for the department.
  • As the Sales/Service Manager, you are the most important part of the overall success of our Sales/Service division by overseeing daily activities to meet goals and clients expectations.
DUTIES:
  • Drive and coach our sales team through proper sales process, training and support.
  • Perform sales activities with sales team members. Negotiate sales price and discount in consultation with Director of Operations.
  • Assist dispatch and install desk in the day-to-day operation of the sales departments, including customer care, technician development and discipline, recruiting and training.
  • Manage personnel and develop a strong/successful sales/service team.
  • Review progress throughout the entire division.
  • Enforce proper sales process
  • Review sales, debrief tech sales calls, develop better sales skills, presentation, estimate building and finance close
  • In-field and in-office training on sales and customer relations
  • Drive and push membership program through training and action
  • Coach, encourage, train and hold sales team accountable for taking care of our customers completed by offering needed products (e.g. insulation, indoor air quality, etc)
  • Assist upper management with any additional help that is needed or required
  • Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth
  • Implement new strategies to develop and improve each division
  • Meet regularly with dispatch team, install team, dispatch manager, HVAC Install supervisor, install manager, revenue manager and director of operations
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Execute company's sales policies, best practice and procedures.
  • Assist sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Field Operationsto develop sales strategies to improve market share in all service areas.
  • Help educate sales team by establishing programs / training in the areas of new equipment sales and service.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Must have 2 or more years of HVAC Residential Service experience
  • 3 years of Sales manager experience
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • Good driving record (No DWI's within the past 5 years)
  • Clean criminal background (No felonies within the past 7 years)
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Exceptional communication and sales ability skills
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment
Preferred: EPA & TDLR
