Job Summary
We seek a customer-focused and technically knowledgeable HVAC Customer Service/Sales Representative to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you'll support customers, helping them navigate HVAC product options, answering technical questions, and preparing sales quotes. This position bridges customer service and sales, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of HVAC systems and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, delivering professional support and accurate information on HVAC products and services.
- Provide product recommendations and solutions tailored to customer needs, both residential and commercial.
- Prepare and follow up on detailed quotes and proposals for HVAC systems, including duct work, sheet metal, and mechanical equipment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery, including purchasing, fabrication, and project coordination.
- Assist customers with product compatibility, installation requirements, and system performance questions.
- Stay current with industry trends, product updates, and competitive offerings to support effective sales and service.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications, sales activities, and service history in the company's CRM system.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required; technical training or certifications in HVAC, mechanical systems, or related areas are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in HVAC customer service, inside sales, or a similar support role.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC equipment, systems, and mechanical components.
- Experience with sales or estimation tools such as Bluebeam, AutoBid, or equivalent is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be based in or able to commute to Los Angeles, CA, with a reliable and consistent work history.
