Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities
  1. Find qualified candidates, interview top talent, and onboard and train new employees
  2. Oversee human resources programs including employee training, benefits, compensation, and company evaluation
  3. Conduct exit interviews to obtain honest feedback from employees to make improvements to our organizational policies
  4. Process and maintain internal documents, paperwork, records, and reports
  5. Act as the bridge between employees and managers and offer advice on key issues such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
Qualifications
  • Must possess a bachelor's degree in business management, HR management or similar major
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • 3-5 years of experience as an HR manager, upper-level HR generalist or in a senior position in HR management
  • Certified with the SHRM or a similar certification institute
Compensation

$30 - $35 hourly

About TASC

Treatment Access and Services Center (TASC) is a nonprofit drug and alcohol agency in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania. TASC's mission is to provide drug and alcohol treatment as an alternative to incarceration for nonviolent criminal offenders and other individuals.

As an intervention agency, TASC conducts substance use screenings, assessments, and treatment referrals for inmates at the Berks County Jail System, and emergency room patients at Tower Health/Reading Hospital as part of the Warm Hand-Off program. TASC provides urinalysis testing and works closely with the Berks County Treatment Court programs and the Adult Probation & Parole Office.

Finally, through its mobile Awaken Mental Health case management program, TASC provides support to adults with severe mental illness throughout Berks County. Together, through its many service units, the 60 employees working at TASC help thousands of individuals overcome the devastating effects of substance use and mental illness each year.
