Duties You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist and be responsible forplanning strategic goals and initiatives, designing customer-focused programs, developing policy, overseeing program requirements and assessing program effectiveness and customer satisfaction for the civilian personnel program. Develops overall plans for new projects and leads customer-based teams to design, implement, market, and evaluate new and significantly revised HR programs. Review existing and proposed legislative and regulatory requirements for application and impact on HR programs affecting the civilian workforce and management throughout the Coast Guard. Leads or participates on interdisciplinary teams in the Coast Guard, Department, as well as Interagency teams to support strategic planning, organizational restructuring and downsizing, and workforce effectiveness.
