The responsibility of the HR Specialist is to interview potential employees for employment with Medina Creative Accessibility (MCA), to perform all pre-employment registry checks, to set up appointments for and ensure that employees go to all BCII check appointments, physical exams, and drug testing, to ensure that all employment paperwork is completed, to answer questions regarding benefits, policies, and procedures, to act as an employee liaison in HR issues, to compile the employee's file for review, and to participate in the vital role of the HR System of Checks and Balances.u00a0Duties Include:u00a01. Interview potential MCA employees for open positions2. Create and post job opening announcements for various publications and message boards3. To perform all pre-employment registry checks before an applicant is brought in for an interview4. To set up appointments for BCII checks, physical exams, and drug testing5. To ensure that all employment paperwork is completed6. To answer questions regarding MCA policies and procedures7. To act as an employee liaison in HR issues8. Keep updated skills and licenses of all employees9. Responsible for employee disciplinary actions in accordance with HR policies10. To compile the employee's file for review in the HR System of Checks and Balances11. To file all certificates of training in employee files12. To receive and ask for updated automobile insurance cards and driver's licenses from all employees13. Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures14. Monitors performance evaluations15. Conducts recruitment efforts for all departments; writes and places job openings on all social media and job searching sites16. Maintains human resource information system records and complies with all applicable laws17. Complete any and all duties assigned by the CEO and Director of Operations, Housing and Compliance.18. Attends job fairs and any other community events to identify and recruit qualified candidates19. Handle employee relations; counseling and exit interviews20. Keeps in strict confidence any and all personnel issues21. Participate in administrative seminars to keep ongoing knowledge of rules and regulations22. To perform annual registry checks needed to stay in compliance with the DODD23. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the MITC data base.24. Keep current on all DODD, DOL and OSHA rules and regulations25. Completes any and all duties assigned by the CEO and the Director of Operations, Housing and Complianceu00a0u00a0MCA Employee Requirements:1.
