Exciting Opportunity for an HR Recruiting Assistant.

CLA is on the lookout for a Temporary HR Recruiting Assistant to support the full-cycle recruiting process at a well-established law firm in Columbia, SC. This is your chance to become a key player in a dynamic HR team while gaining invaluable experience. This assignment is expected to last at least six (6) months.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting From screening resumes to scheduling interviews, you'll be involved in every step of the process-helping to connect top talent with this thriving law firm.
  • Initial Phone Screenings Conduct light phone interviews, ensuring that only the best candidates move forward in the process.
  • Scheduling Interviews Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers-your organizational skills will be crucial here.
  • Administrative Support Provide valuable administrative support to the HR team, including uploading and scanning documents into
    Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), creating new hire packets, and assisting with other HR tasks as needed.
  • Collaborative Teamwork Work closely with experienced recruiters to streamline the hiring process and ensure a smooth experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of recruiting experience and a passion for full-cycle recruitment
  • Prior experience in a human resources role is a big plus (1-2 years preferred).
  • Strong experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills-you'll be juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You'll need to be extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Team player mentality, ready to jump in and support where needed.
