Position Purpose:Ensures exceptional customer service, maintaining compliance with established standards and policies, and effectively utilizing information systems. This role emphasizes meticulous data management, problem resolutions, technological proficiency, and exceptional communication skills.
Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp:Associates plus 1-2 year(s) of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service ethic
- Proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and database programs
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Tact, diplomacy and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to communicate respectfully with a diverse community and support the Department's mission to foster inclusiveness and diversity
- Proficiency in information systems, reporting, and data management tools
- Good judgment, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Able to balance many tasks simultaneously, prioritize and work independently while keeping supervisor well-informed of progress
Preferred Qualifications:- Demonstrated successful work experience in a large and/or complex environment where collaboration and flexibility were essential
- Experience in human resources and interest in employee engagement helpful
- Program coordination experience preferred

Quick Link:Description:Information Management and Compliance Reporting
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in HR practices
- Utilize and maintain multiple HR information systems (HRIS) to accurately record, track, and manage employee data
- Generate and manipulate reports from various software tools to support HR processes, compliance audits, and decision-making, ensuring data integrity and security
- Engage with third party service providers to maintain the ongoing products and services needed by the HR Operations Team
- Ensure compliance with college policies and procedures

Description:Operational Support and Administration
- Review and support the collection of required documentation from all new employees
- Maintain and update employee records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Regularly handle and ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive HR information
- Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures
- Cultivate collaborative, effective business relationships across campus
- Under supervision, update communications and address administrative needs such as mail distribution, office supplies ordering, and equipment readiness for HR department
- Provide project support to HR colleagues as needed
- Cross train with other team members to assure adequate coverage, accurate and consistent information and timeliness

Description:Customer Service Excellence
- Serve as the primary point of contact representing the department to the institution and external constituencies, including faculty, staff, students, visitors and community members
- Provide relevant and accurate information in response to inquiries or promptly connect individuals to appropriate resources; Follow-up to ensure resolution
- Understand relevant Dartmouth employment policies and provide referrals to policy and specialist in policy interpretation
- Act appropriately when engaging with others and support the institution's commitment to diversity
