We're looking for a talented and highly skilled Operations HR Manager to join our team. In this vital role, you will play a key part in supporting our HR and Operations departments by assisting in employee misconduct investigations, ensuring compliance with policies and legal regulations, and supporting our visa program. This position demands someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong communication skills, and maintains a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Case Management:

  • Receive, log, and assess employee complaints or allegations of misconduct.
  • Review employee records, timecards, and other relevant documentation to gather initial information.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with complainants, witnesses, and the accused employee.
  • Prepare interview guides and document interview details accurately.

Investigation Support:

  • Conduct preliminary interviews with witnesses to gather facts and key information.
  • Collect and organize evidence such as emails, documents, and physical items.
  • Cross-check information with company records and other sources to verify facts.

Administrative Tasks:

  • After investigations, assist with compiling and preparing investigation reports for management review.
  • Ensure that case files are turned over to Human Resources for official filing.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel as necessary on complex cases or issues.

Preventive Measures & Documentation Management:

  • Assist with employee document management across sites to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Support sites in ensuring training is up to date and that employee records are properly documented.
  • Guide managers in best practices for documentation, including taking employee statements, tracking disciplinary actions, and monitoring employee performance.

Visa Program Support:

  • Assist with our visa program by coordinating with applicants and handling logistics, budgets, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure timely communication and support to ensure smooth visa application processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR investigations, HR management, or a related field.
  • Strong investigative skills, including interviewing, documentation review, and fact-finding.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all matters.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to conduct interviews and engage with employees.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and company policies related to employee misconduct.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report writing and data management.
  • Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to other locations as needed for investigations or other HR operations.
