A boutique private equity firm in NYC is seeking a passionate HR Manager to undertake a wide range of human resource and administrative responsibilities. Must be comfortable in a standalone HR role.
Salary range: 100k - 120k base
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Onsite Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the onboarding and off boarding processes, and handle new hire orientation, benefits administration and system updates
- Respond to general employee inquiries and questions on employment, benefits, and company policies and procedures
- Administer and manage benefit plans, liaising with brokers and providers, managing the annual open enrollment
- Maintain communication with outside vendors
- Maintain employee files, payroll records, and all other employment related records
- Maintain PTO request and approvals for employee's time off
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues
- Manage daily HR duties and provide excellent customer service to employees
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in financial services
- Experience with bookkeeping and handling contracts is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and policies, industry trends and federal and state laws
