A bit about us:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Permanent Human Resources Manager to join our team in the legal industry. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work both in-office and remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Human Resources function, from talent acquisition to compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws. This position requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, who can drive HR initiatives that align with our business goals.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

As the Permanent Human Resources Manager, you will be expected to:

1. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
2. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
3. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
4. Manage the recruitment and selection process.
5. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
6. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
7. Nurture a positive working environment.
8. Oversee and manage a competitive compensation and benefits package.
9. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
10. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
11. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Master's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
2. Proven working experience of 5+ years as an HR manager or other HR executive.
3. People-oriented and results-driven.
4. Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
5. Knowledge of HR systems and databases; experience with HRIS and Ultipro software is a plus.
6. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
7. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
8. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
9. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
10. Experience in the legal industry is preferred but not required.
