HR Manager

Location: Costa Mesa, CA


At The Law Offices of Daniel Kim, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources efforts and oversee the HR operations. This individual will play a key role in shaping the culture of our organization, supporting the growth of our legal team, and ensuring a positive and compliant working environment.


Compensation: $140,000 - $150,000/year.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the firm's mission, values, and goals.
  • Ensure legal compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, as well as internal policies.
  • Manage and lead HR Generalist team to execute daily HR functions and support our law offices.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on employee relations issues, addressing conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Advise management on HR best practices, employee development, and workforce planning.
  • Develop and manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, wellness programs, and retirement plans.
  • Maintain HR metrics to assess employee engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Oversee training and professional development programs for staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR management experience, with a preference for experience in the legal or professional services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and legal compliance.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading HR initiatives and managing a team.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) - Must have.
