Rod 'N' Reel Resort, a premier waterfront destination, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead end-to-end human resources operations-including recruitment, benefits, payroll, compliance, and performance management.
In this role, you'll partner with department leaders and the executive team to strengthen our HR systems and support a dynamic, guest-centered workforce. We're looking for a process-minded professional with a passion for hospitality and a track record of delivering strategic HR solutions.
As the HR Manager, you will:
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts across departments
- Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation programs
- Oversee team member relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Manage HR systems (eg, Paylocity), team member records, and regulatory reporting
- Coordinate training, development, and engagement initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and hospitality HR needs
- Experience with payroll and HRIS systems (eg, Paylocity)
- Discreet, organized, and an excellent communicator
Preferred: HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR); hospitality industry experience
