Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated HR Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. This role will support the Austin, TX location, managing key HR functions to ensure a productive and engaging workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Operations: Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly HR administrative tasks to maintain smooth operations.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, selecting candidates, and managing the onboarding program for new hires.
- Employment Documentation: Prepare and manage employment offers for new hires, internal promotions, transfers, and compensation adjustments.
- Compensation & Workforce Planning: Advise managers on salary structures, workforce planning, and other HR-related concerns.
- Benefits Management: Administer and manage employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, AD&D, 401(k), FMLA, and PTO), serving as the main contact for benefits and payroll-related inquiries.
- Succession Planning & Development: Collaborate with managers on succession planning and support workforce development efforts.
- HR Policies & Compliance: Develop, review, and implement HR policies related to compensation, performance evaluations, and staffing strategies, ensuring compliance with corporate and local regulations.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate HR reports to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Employee Relations: Act as a bridge between headquarters HR and U.S. subsidiaries, providing guidance on policy interpretation and employee relations matters.
- Employee Engagement & Talent Development: Lead initiatives to drive employee engagement, productivity, and workplace culture. Manage talent development programs to support the company's growth.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Implement and support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) strategies to improve workplace dynamics.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a human resources role, with preference given to those with multicultural or international workplace experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.
- Proficiency with HR software systems (ADP, Oracle preferred).
- Familiarity with visa and immigration processes (eg, H-1B, L-1, E-2) is a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience in a multicultural work environment with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across cultures.
- A proactive, positive attitude and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Previous HR experience in a related industry is highly desirable.
- Strong data analysis skills for HR-related decision-making.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, including Workers' Compensation, safety regulations, and OSHA documentation.
- Korean Bilingual is a plus.
