Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Youngstown, OH
Job Type: Full-Time - Mon-Fri - 8am-4pm
Pay: $18/hr

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting a variety of HR functions, including recruiting, payroll and hours tracking, and general clerical duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment:
- Post job openings, screen resumes, and assist in the hiring process for various departments.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and handle the onboarding process.

2. Employee Payroll & Timekeeping:
- Accurately record employee hours and submit payroll on time.
- Monitor and resolve any discrepancies in timecards, paid time off, and other payroll issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal and state wage laws.

3. Clerical Support:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks such as filing, document management, and data entry.
- Prepare HR-related reports, handle correspondence, and manage office supplies.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 1-2 years of HR or administrative experience preferred.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and HRIS or payroll software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
