APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Vicksburg, MI looking to add an HR Generalist to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be managing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance with HR policies and regulations. Could this be the job for you?

What your day will look like:
- Helps run HR programs like pay, benefits, leave, training, safety, and employee performance.
- Updates the HR system with changes like new hires, terminations, promotions, and benefits.
- Answers HR-related questions from employees, job applicants, and supervisors. Passes complex issues to the right team members.
- Keeps employee records up to date and ensures they remain private and secure.
- Prepares monthly reports on things like staff numbers, training completion, and safety.
- Checks and updates time and attendance records for plant employees.
- Creates job ads and other materials using company branding.
- Helps with hiring hourly workers.
- Assists in planning employee events like luncheons and benefit sign-ups.
- Helps employees understand HR rules and policies.
- Uses HR software for hiring, onboarding, training, and performance tracking.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist
- Professional certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR
- Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry
- Effective process management and proven ability to build and lead effective teams
