About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as an HR Generalist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our company's culture, supporting our employees, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. Your contributions will help us maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and support training and development solutions Design and deliver programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Lead culture events and employee recognition programs Organize and manage events that foster a positive workplace culture and recognize employee achievements.
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding Collaborate with managers to identify necessary skills and competencies, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures Create and update policies to ensure they align with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies Regularly review and update policies to comply with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Stay current on HR trends and best practices Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and advancements in HR technology.
  • Provide backup support for Office Coordinator Assist with front desk coverage and phone management as needed.
  • Develop strategic wellness initiatives Coordinate vendor relationships and organize wellness sessions to improve employee health and reduce costs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned Take on additional tasks as needed to support the HR department.

Qualifications

  • Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in HR software and data management; Dayforce experience preferred.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 2 years of human resources experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.
