Our client, a start-up life sciences organization in the King of Prussia, PA area is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for their team. The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in administering the daily functions of the HR department and supporting various initiatives that contribute to the success and growth of our organization.
This role will be onsite Monday-Friday in their King of Prussia office.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Serves as the day-to-day point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing consultative support at all levels of the organization on a wide variety of HR matters.
- General HR program/policy development, administration, and compliance (eg hiring, orientation, onboarding, engagement, performance management, compensation, benefits, rewards, terminations, and records management etc.).
- Collaborates cross-functionally on employee engagement initiatives.
- Develops and maintains policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated effectively.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborates with the Head of HR to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes, aimed at enhancing employee experience and engagement.
- Maintains HR data in ADP Workforce Now. Assists with the production of HR metrics and preparation of reports on various HR activities to support decision-making. Analyzes data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Promotes the value of HR programs, effectively communicates the impact to the business and employees and helps to minimize disruptions.
- Delivers HR-related training as needed.
- Stays updated on HR-related training and industry best practices to continually enhance expertise and contribute to a standard of HR excellence.
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of well-rounded HR Generalist experience.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and practices.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Proficient with HR technology and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
- Proficient in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to identify and navigate issues/problems that are difficult and sometimes complex.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/processes, working independently and with limited supervision.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
