Position Summary
The HR Generalist will collaborate closely with the Corporate Human Resources department to meet departmental needs, focusing on employee relations, retention, and daily HR activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for employees and managers within the business unit.
- Support the delivery of HR processes at the client's site proactively.
- Manage complex HR projects across various functions.
- Build strong business relationships with internal clients.
- Assist the Senior HR Director with company-wide training on policy and legal updates.
- Identify gaps, propose, and implement changes to mitigate risks.
- Facilitate the management team in finding optimal solutions for employees.
- Drive performance improvement and encourage positive changes in people management.
- Challenge and propose changes to the organizational structure of internal clients.
- Work with the Senior HR Director to resolve employee relations issues at designated facilities.
- Conduct employee counseling and exit interviews.
- Process unemployment claims and represent the company as needed.
- Maintain employment posters at all locations.
- Review Employee Warning Notices, maintain disciplinary logs, and advise HR management on issues.
- Assist with post-hire activities.
- Process employee requests for employment-related information.
- Support employee events.
- Develop working knowledge of HRIS to meet business needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of information, including employee data, pay information, employee relations, performance issues, and strategic company information.
- Maintain HR process manuals for responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- PHR Certification preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of HR generalist experience is required.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to provide coverage over multiple shifts and locations.
- Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
