LHH is seeking an HR Generalist for a Direct Hire position with a company in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate has 5+ years HR experience in employee relations, benefits, recruitment, and onboarding. This role is moving quickly, so please apply if interested.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise managers on employee relations and development.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee grievances.
  • Conduct internal investigations into potential ethical or legal violations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze turnover data, and suggest improvements to enhance employee retention and experience.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and oversee job postings.
  • Maintain relationships with recruiting vendors and staffing agencies.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and partner with hiring managers throughout the hiring process, including job offer development.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and professional development programs.
  • Stay updated on employment laws to ensure compliance.
  • Develop, update, and implement employment policies and procedures.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including annual evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years HR experience
  • Knowledge of employment regulations such as EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and Affirmative Action.
  • Experience in hiring, employee relations, policy development, payroll, benefits administration, and internal communications.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with good organizational and planning abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in an industrial distribution or manufacturing environment is a plus
