Travel: Occasional travel to project sites and offices


The HR Director will lead and improve the HR department, overseeing recruitment, staffing, benefits, compensation, onboarding, employee relations, and development. This role also serves as the EEO and DEI Officer, ensuring compliance and promoting a positive work culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • The HR Director will lead and develop the HR team, providing technical advice and mentoring.
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations, including EEO, Affirmative Action, FMLA, and OFCCP.
  • Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and company goals.
  • The HR Director will drive employee engagement, relations, and training programs.
  • Oversee employee reviews and integrate feedback into development programs.
  • Lead recruiting efforts, focusing on talent attraction, retention, and compensation.
  • The HR Director will manage employee benefits, working with the Benefits Committee to offer competitive packages.
  • Utilize HR technology to enhance efficiency and support company goals.

Qualifications:

  • The HR Director must hold a bachelor's degree in human resources.
  • Must have SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certifications.
  • Must have 8+ years of HR experience from a Construction background
  • The HR Director must have experience in the construction industry.
  • Must have a strong understanding of HR trends, employment law, compensation, and employee relations.
  • The HR Director must have strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

This role reports directly to the President and requires adherence to federal contractor compliance policies.
