HR Operations Director - Biotech
Location: Lexington, MA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Contract: 40 hours/week 3-6 months
We're hiring an AD/Director of HR Operations to lead critical people functions at the heart of our growing life sciences company. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this is a strategic and hands-on role focused on building and scaling core HR operations that attract, retain, and support top talent.
You'll oversee compensation strategybenefits administrationHRIS management, and HR compliance, while collaborating across teams to align programs with business goals. We're looking for a technically strong, solutions-driven HR leader with a deep understanding of best-in-class practices, workforce analytics, and employee experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead compensation and benefits strategy, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness
- Own and manage HRIS platforms and data integrity across systems
- Partner cross-functionally to support budgeting, financial planning, and compliance initiatives
- Oversee U.S. and global HR policies, vendor management, and administrative excellence
- Champion clarity, efficiency, and service in every HR touchpoint
What You Bring
- 10+ years' experience in HR operations, with a strong track record in compensation, benefits, and HRIS
- Life sciences experience and a deep understanding of compliance, employment law, and global HR practices
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on, balancing big-picture vision with daily operations
- Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and a proactive mindset
- Certifications such as CCP, CEBS, PHR/SPHR are highly desirable
