The Role


We have partnered with a leading manufacturer who is seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Director to lead the human resources function and shape the company's people strategy. As a key member of the leadership team, this individual will drive HR initiatives that support business growth, enhance company culture, and foster an engaged, high-performing workforce.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring the company attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Oversee recruitment efforts, onboarding, and retention strategies to build a strong workforce.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a positive work environment through strong communication, employee development programs, and engagement initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Implement and manage performance review processes to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws while maintaining HR policies that support a fair and inclusive workplace.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with industry standards and business objectives.
  • Training & Development: Lead professional development initiatives to upskill employees and nurture leadership within the organization.
  • Culture & Employer Branding: Champion company values and promote a workplace culture that reflects the organization's mission and vision.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certification preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business success.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with multiple shifts preferred.
  • Experience with managing workforces of up to 300 employees.
