As part of OnPoint's consulting team, you will be assigned client accounts to deliver day-to-day HR business services, implement HR strategies and build culture. You will serve the client on employee relations, benefits administration, talent acquisition, onboarding, HR system administration, performance management and compliance. Internally, you will collaborate directly with the Founder of OnPoint to develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive OnPoint's operational growth and excellence.


This is hybrid/remote direct-hire role that requires 25% onsite reporting in North Scottsdale and/or occasional client site visits.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as liaison with client (CEO or Head of Finance) to establish priorities, solve HR issues, and maintain communication.
  • Project Management: Organize, plan and execute projects to improve HR processes and streamline workflows.
  • Benefits and Compensation Administration: Help define and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Ensure employees are well-informed about their options and assist with enrollment and inquiries; interface with insurance brokers; provide administrative payroll support.
  • Risk and Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulatory requirements (Federal, State, Local) and company policies including company licensing and training requirements.
  • Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization. Develop orientation materials and facilitate training sessions to acclimate new employees.
  • Employee Development: Support career progression and performance management initiatives to boost employee engagement and retention.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, addressing workplace concerns and promoting a positive, inclusive culture.
  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and streamline the hiring process.
  • HR System Administration: Administer HR information systems, ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance. Assist with system implementations or upgrades and optimize workflows to facilitate the smooth application of HR transactions, enhancing efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of general HR experience (7+ years preferred) including employee relations and recruitment experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to coach, delegate and manage projects.
  • Hands-on experience with benefits and payroll administration.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations required.
  • Experience serving a multi-state organization a plus.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience with HRIS and workflow automation tools preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience working in remote environments; equipped home office environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • SHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
