The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to designated business units, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals to drive performance, engagement, and growth. The HRBP provides expert guidance on a wide range of HR functions including workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and compliance. This role acts as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for designated departments, building strong relationships with managers and employees.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Support organizational change efforts, including restructuring, leadership transitions, and culture development.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance, development, engagement, and conflict resolution.
  • Lead talent management efforts including workforce planning, succession planning, and career development.
  • Support recruitment efforts by partnering with Talent Acquisition to define role requirements and ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations as needed, and ensure fair and consistent application of policies.
  • Interpret and apply HR policies, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, develop insights, and drive HR strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) including compensation, benefits, training, and DEI to deliver comprehensive HR solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (eg, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a business partner or advisory capacity.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
