Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for teams, leaders, and employees.
- Foster collaboration, communication, and positive business outcomes.
Talent Management and Development:
- Partner with recruitment teams to develop workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies.
- Design and implement targeted training programs to support skills development and career growth.
- Provide strategic oversight for performance management and career development initiatives.
Employee Experience:
- Lead initiatives to enhance company culture and employee engagement.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues through conflict resolution and investigations.
HR Operations and Compliance:
- Develop and continuously improve HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with business needs and regulations.
- Deliver compliance training programs, including harassment prevention and ethics training.
- Oversee HR administration and documentation processes.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and employment law trends.
Data-Driven Insights and Analytics:
- Use HR metrics and analytics to identify trends and guide decision-making.
- Evaluate team health and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Enhance reporting capabilities for increased transparency.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with a focus on business partnering.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP certifications or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations (including CA state laws).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or engineering.
- Background in a startup environment.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong data analysis skills for designing and implementing HR programs.
- Familiarity with HR analytics tools.
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
