Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to align our human capital strategies with business objectives. This role will support both the internal operations of the firm and the management teams of portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on problem solver with experience in private equity, investment management, or related fast-paced industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives and managers on talent management, organizational design, and workforce planning.
- Partner with portfolio companies to assess and enhance their HR functions.
Talent Management & Development
- Lead initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Design and implement leadership development programs and succession planning strategies.
- Oversee performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive initiatives to foster a high-performance culture within the firm and portfolio companies.
- Conduct employee engagement surveys and develop action plans to address feedback.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization and portfolio.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee HR policies and practices, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Provide guidance on compensation structures, benefits programs, and incentive plans.
M&A and Organizational Change
- Support due diligence processes for potential acquisitions by evaluating HR-related risks and opportunities.
- Develop and execute post-merger integration plans focusing on people and culture.
- Provide expertise in organizational restructuring, change management, and workforce integration.
Qualifications:
Experience: 7+ years in HR roles, including at least 3 years in a business partner or similar capacity, preferably within private equity, consulting, or fast-paced corporate environments.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master's degree or HR certifications like SPHR, SHRM-SCP are a plus.)
