JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to support multiple site locations within the United States. PAG's four key service areas are Avionics Services, Engine Services, Component Services, and Manufacturing/DER (Designated Engineering Representative) Services. Sites assigned may support one or more of these key service areas.

This role will serve by providing hands-on support to one or more sites. HRG will act as the primary HR contact for employees and leaders within assigned sites, focusing on employee relations, culture & engagement, coaching & manager development, as well as training. The HRG will partner closely with site leadership to drive a positive workplace culture, ensure consistency in HR policies, and provide guidance on employee-related matters. Workforce planning and talent retention will also be key functions of this role.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Functions:

Employee Relations: Act as the primary resource for handling employee relations matters, conducting investigations, resolving workplace conflicts, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Culture & Engagement: Partner with site leadership to foster a positive and inclusive work environment, reinforcing company values and employee engagement initiatives.

Coaching & Management Development: Provide coaching and guidance to managers on effective practices, employee performance, and development strategies to enhance managerial effectiveness.

Training: Ensure training programs are identified and possibly developed for employees and leaders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and workforce development goals.

HR Policy & Compliance: Serves as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR-related policies, procedures, and best practices. Ensure consistent application of policies in areas of responsibility.

HR Support & Advising: Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, including benefits, payroll, leaves of absence, and workplace accommodations, escalating complex issues as needed.

Collaboration & Business Partnership: Work closely with corporate HR teams and site leaders to align HR strategies with business goals and support organizational growth.

Workforce Planning & Talent Retention: Assist in identifying workforce trends, turnover concerns, and opportunities for retention strategies across locations.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weights up to 20 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Work Location: Assigned site location in the US.

Travel: This role requires occasional day and overnight travel to site locations. (25% or less of the time)

Potential Hazards: Exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets.

Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required or commensurate additional years of experience.

Experience:

Three-plus years of HR generalist-type experience, with employee relations experience preferred.

Experience supporting multi-site operations preferred.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
