Primary Services is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Human Resources Assistant to support our client's Human Resources department. This role involves maintaining accurate employee data in Workday, creating HR documents and reports, and contributing to projects that require advanced Excel capabilities. The ideal candidate will be experienced with HRIS platforms (preferably Workday) and comfortable managing large volumes of sensitive data across systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and update employee information in Workday and other HR systems
  • Create and manage HR documentation such as spreadsheets, reports, and presentations
  • Assist with data-driven HR projects requiring Excel expertise (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
  • Support daily administrative tasks within the HR department, ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and maintain HR data across departments
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR support in a timely, professional manner

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in an HR support, data entry, or administrative role (preferred)
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms; Workday experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage confidential employee data with discretion
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
