Hiring for an Human Resources Assistant with ADP experience in Santa Ana, CA
Contract role with the possibility for Direct Hire
Hourly pay rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative functions to the HR department including, answer incoming calls and emails, manage HR mail
- Assist in company event planning, employee recognition/engagement programs
- Maintain various lists including, directory, parking map, years of service, birthdays
- Create company memos, event flyers, quarterly newsletter
- All payroll functions including, prep, processing, payroll questions, fixing payroll issues, distributing live checks
- Assist in employee benefits questions, leave of absences, 401K weekly contributions and reporting
- Perform other related duties as required
- Maintain company calendar and attendance point system
- Assist with sourcing and recruiting functions for open positions
Qualifications:
- Experience in ADP payroll and/or ADP Total Source
- 1 - 2 years of experience in HR assistant role
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry
- Ability to enter data efficiently, timely and correctly in order to meet deadlines
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Recruiting skills a plus
- Meeting scheduling for busy managers
