LHH is looking for a Human Resources Assistant for a Non-Profit right here in Plainview, NY. This position will be supporting an HR Team with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. This will be a temporary, in-office position and compensate between $20-25/hr, contingent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Enter employee changes in their HRIS system
- Answer employee e-mail inbox
- Schedule interviews
- On-boarding new hires
- Coordinate with finance on all employee verification documents
- Organize new hire orientation
To be considered for this client you should have
- Previous experience in a Human Resources Department
- Must be very proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
